Cognition Education Trustees met with representatives of their beneficiaries recently to report on its philanthropy and discuss activities for next year. As an independent philanthropic organisation, the Trust’s purpose is to raise the educational expectations and increase the life chances of all New Zealand students, with a particular focus on improving education for beneficiaries in the greater Auckland area. The Cognition Education Trust wholly owns Cognition Education Ltd, a leading education consultancy supporting the development and reform of education systems worldwide. The purpose of the company is to generate profits for the Trust to distribute in the interests of its beneficiaries.
