Feedback sought for Cognition Institute
Administrator
12th Nov 2009

The power and value of this website will be in the contributions, comments and debates that we get from practitioners, intellectuals and policy makers (not mutually exclusive) to the research and commentaries published here.

The collective contributions in all areas of the site will help to determine areas where research and evaluation would benefit the education community and more importantly once research is complete what it actually means for the improvement of the teaching and learning of students of all ages in educational institutions in New Zealand and internationally.

We hope that all actors on the educational stage from 'headliners' to 'stagehands' will feel that they have a valid voice through the forum functionality and will freely offer an opinion or join in a debate. It can only lead to bigger 'stars' for the future. My apologies for using a 'dramatic' analogy here and neglecting to focus on reading, writing and maths.

Please use this thread to give us feedback about this site, the concept of making research more accessible to more people or in fact any pertinent or relevant educational topic. We will create new threads for any topics that develop a 'life of their own'.

THANK YOU

Chris Wainwright

thanks,

Seems OK to me so far, after a 1/2 hour registering and browsing/grazing......You may wish to create an automatic "thanks : you are now registered", on your registration page.

I do appreciate the light, open, and hence relaxed invitations of the page designs.

Feedback about the the conceptualisations of this site? Well, totally brilliant etcetera.....integrating research into teaching in the classroom - from primary to Univeristies - is a MUST........and has been sorely missed by generations of students....My congratulations and extremely large THANK YOU for the generosity and vitality of all those involved.....I much appreciate the opportunities to join with you in further promoting and increasing the stimulii you are providing.

Chris Wainwright.
